Manningtree Town Council is seeking someone willing to play a part in representing the interests of the community and to improve the quality of life and the local environment. Manningtree Town Council's annual community engagement award for 2016 has been awarded to the Manningtree & District Business Chamber. The Business Chamber was chosen due to its previous and on-going commitment to arranging events for local people, in particular the fantastic annual Christmas Market. The award ceremony took place on Monday 6th February 2017 at the Red Lion and was presented to the Business Chamber by the Mayor, Cllr. Mark Morsley.
